Say Hallo to Yindi!
Yindi is an Aboriginal Australian. Her country is a country, continent, and island!
Like most Aboriginal people, Yindi feels a deep and powerful connection with the Earth. Spending time quietly exploring that connection is extremely important to her. She loves walking barefoot, feeling the earth under her feet, and collecting special feathers or pretty rocks that she believes are gifts from the Earth and her ancestors.
Although Yindi and other Aboriginal girls wear traditional clothing during ceremonies, they mostly wear ‘regular’ clothes every day. Yindi can’t be bothered worrying about clothes that should not get dirty or dusty. She likes to wear T-shirts and shorts or jeans. She prefers shorts or jeans with pockets that can hold the treasures she collects on her walks. When her pants don't have pockets, she usually wears a woven waist belt like her ancestors.
Yindi doesn’t like skirts and dresses too much because she has to be careful how she moves when she wears them.
Yindi loves playing with other Megadolls and teaching them about their connection to the Earth. She likes dressing up in pre-colored Megadolls outfits, which you can find in the Play section. She is also curious to see your creations using the blank clothing templates from the Create or Design sections of the Megadolls website.
