Eritrean women are a sight to behold-headstrong, elegant, and beautiful. Their gentleness, patience, tenderness, and unique skin tone are renowned. Yet, they are also fierce and strong. Zula embodies this beauty and strength, ready to captivate everyone with her charm and personality.
Traditionally, the women of Eritrea wore Habeshi Kemis. Made from chiffon or a cotton fabric called sheema, Habeshi Kemis is a long feminine dress. The top part (bodice) usually fits tight and has sleeves. The bottom of the dress is a flowing skirt. Habeshi Kemis is traditionally made from white, beige, or neutral-colored fabric.
Today, brightly colored embroideries are added to the dress's neck, wrist, middle, top, and bottom parts. This makes Eritrean women and girls look feminine and elegant, and these dresses show their strength and femininity at the same time.
Zula loves both traditional Eritrea fashion and modern-day wear. She is very stylish and always dresses to impress.
